Jolly's PL1 3dpatch and short airfields. Two folders, 3dpatch and Short airfields. The 3dpatch folder should be put in the Data folder. Backup your existing 3dpatch first of course. The Short airfields folder can be placed in the shellpat folder. The six bmps need to be copied out into the shellpat folder, where they can be deleted if desired. Nomansland is now brown(-ish), the rivers blue(-ish), the airfields reworked with an eye on how the tiles are used for factory and depot sites as well. Works very well in Hells Angels, but will create a few unusual airfields in WFP with Moving Front 4. I am working on a special set of airfield tiles that will over come that particular issue. More than six months work mainly starting from scratch and ending with a lot of finicky mind numbingly small changes to correct colour inconsistences with objects. I was not 100% effective, there are some small inconsistencies. One I am aware of is how the snow-laden hangar roofs in winter briefly appear grey as you approach them and then revert to white: I struggled with that until the very end without resolving it. It should work ok generally when flying online, but the usual precautions should be taken if you fly campaigns. Its been so long since I last flew online, I am not aware of what conflicts may exist with ground targets etc but it was Gump's initial intention that his PL1 upgrade was to be used for mmp games. I certainly learned a lot about RB graphics, rbvolx and Paintshop Pro but could not have done it without help. Thanks to Gump, Flybert, Rens, Skidmark, Mark66, everyone who offered advice or criticsm, it was all appreciated. And a great deal of gratitude to Kessler who created the PL1 graphics.
