Wings of Valor is temporarily down (I hope)

So far no word from Chevelle on why but Irish posted this at SQHq

I just sent out an email to Chevy so we will have to wait and see. I hate to speculate-- but hopefully he is on another trip and his father's health has improved and is not the reason our Chevelle is away from us.

Though I may have Moderator Status at Wov and SqHQ and WoV share the same host. I donot have acess to the account itself.

Untill WoV comes back up you all are welcome to post here.

Though I don't post there, it's a shame that it has disappeared without a word.

I renewed the host service but missed the email where they told me about new IPs for the DNS. Now I am having trouble getting the registrar to make the change. Should be OK in a day or two.

A rediculous travel schedule for work and pressing family matters have made things even tougher.

Good to hear that it is possible to 'repair' the situation. When I heard WoV was down and found this weird advertising website in place of it I remembered how Jupes lost the original domain for Wings Of Honor. His ISP screwed up and the domain was lost. Luckily it is not in this case.

Seems that Chevelle has lost the domain name "Wings of Valor". He's applied for a new name, but it will take a while.

That's exactly the same thing, that happened to Jupes with wingsofhonor.com. I wonder if it is by chance the same ISP. It is a shame.

Free Creidt Report people have taken over the WoV domain now and supposedly it will cost $700 to get it back, Cyber-Squatters. Wish there were some laws against that or something

Oddly, I get a site called "GreenGrease.com" when I try to access the forum. I use the "Netscape / non-java users"
link, however.

The froum link still points to .org, just modify it in the adress bar to .net and you should be ok
