Dantes has posted some nice screenshots of a visual enhancement for Red Baron II/3D. Well, it is not only for Red Baron 3D but for DirectX9 games like IL-2 as discussed in this forum thread. It is a DX9 plug-in generating the Bloom effect and most of the screenshots you can find on the web have the settings overdone. The settings are adjustable and one needs to find out the right settings for each game.

Dantes was the first to try it on Red Baron 3D with the dgVoodoo Glide Wrapper which can run with DirectX9 depending on the settings of the wrapper. This is a great find. Look at these awesome screenshots Dantes has made. They are straight out of the game and contain no postwork.

Dantes has uploaded a zipped package with his custom settings suitable for Red Baron II/3D here. The settings for the effects can be altered.

Note: This will work with the dgVoodoo Glide Wrapper only as it is based on DirectX. It will not work with the OpenGLide Wrapper as this is based on OpenGL.
