It will normally run alongside Red Baron II/3D. It accesses and modifies certain .dat files that are used by RB2, and some functions require you to be in the RB2 Main Menu so as to avoid file sharing conflicts between CM (Campaign Manager) and RB2. (Red Baron stores alot of the shared data in RAM and usually only writes to disk once you are in the Main Menu, or exit the game). Campaign Manager also copies/moves/deletes various RB2 files, and allows you to make backups of your original files. This file includes also the update 1. There is a zip-file with the same name without the update 1 also. But this is the updated version. Other updates to Campaign Manager as Update 1.1 and 1.3 are available further below. You also need vbrun300.zip (230k). This zip file contains the Windows dll file VBRUN300.DLL. Campaign Manager is written in Visual Basic 3, which is an old version of software that writes programs for Windows 3.1 applications. VBRUN300.DLL is a file that is required for Visual Basic 3 applications to run. You may already have VBRUN300.DLL on your system - if you do then you DON'T need to download this. If you don't, then download this file and unzip it to your Windows SYSTEM Folder. Campaign Manager being essentially a Windows3.1 program means that colours won't come up exactly as they do in the screenshots on this page. The first is CM 1.3. Now, to be honest, it has been so long since I made this one that I can't remember what I fixed/added. I think I have improved the Missiona debrief/journal features, and also some of the modify campaign options. There is a bug with the position of the Journal button, but it's not too bad. I no longer have VB installed on my machine so I can't fix it! I believe I may have improved the patching system, so it is best to either start with a fresh installation or remove all your previous patches and start again with CM13. Leave your cm11 folder named as cm11. You are welcome to try the program and let me know how it goes. Bear in mind I can no longer change a thing about it as I no longer have Visual Basic. Whenever you try to open a campaign you may get a "path not found" error. It seems to be because if there is no ptchlist.txt in the cm11\pilots\CAMPGNXX folder for your campaign, you will get the error. Here is a fix for the first 51 campaigns you will run. Unzip it (using subfolders) to your cm11 folder. It contains empty ptchlist.txt files so that cm13 won't crash. RELEASE NOTES: Red Baron Patch Manager (RBPatch) is a patch management application for Red Baron II/3D. This should be the last 1.x version, unless serious flaws are discovered.
