Hell's Angels Superpatch MMP Toolkit ==================================== Author: Anders Wallenborg (a.k.a. "Swordfish") Date: 2005-03-19 NOTE: This file may be distributed freely, but it must not be sold or used for commercial purposes without the written consent of the author. E-mail: CSq_Swordfish@hotmail.com This toolkit has been created to simplify the process of making the Hell's Angels Superpatch (HASP) for Red Baron 3D (RB3D) compatible with Multiplayer (MMP) mode. The toolkit consists of two DOS batch files: HA_MMP.bat and COCKPIT.BAT HA_MMP.BAT moves the flight model and aircraft spec files from the Simpatch to the Shellpat folder, so that they only apply in Single Player (SP) mode. It also moves the files that contain the extra MG and AA positions ('LO*.dat'), as well as the *damage*.dat and wing*.dat files. This is mandatory for MMP compatibility. COCKPIT.BAT moves the Hell's Angels custom cockpit files from the Simpatch to the shellpat folder, so that they only apply in Single Player (SP) mode. This is optional, and intended for those players (like me) who feel that the realistic but minimal instrumentation on the custom panels in HASP is a disadvantage in MMP. I hope you'll find this toolkit useful. Acknowledgements: ---------------- I am very grateful to Otto von Stachel for creating the Hell's Angels Superpatch in the first place, and for sharing information about which files that are incompatible with MMP. Installation instructions: ========================= A) Normal install: ----------------- 1. Install HASP over a clean, new install of Red Baron. 2. Copy the contents of the Single folder in your temporary HASP install to the Single folder in your RB3D install for HA. 11.
