KoA v. Deutschmark has informed me about various projects he is involved with:

Cold War: Red Baron II/3D multi player series
------------------------------------------------------

Cold War is an effort to improve the multi player experience for the Red Baron 3D multi player using new planes, flight models (based on AFM) and tournament rules. Therefore KoA v. Deutschmark has created various new planes like for example Siemens Schuckert D.III or Sopwith Dolphin.

The Cold War St. Mihiel war re-enactement will be a big online event with a massive amount of planes online. This was in the news already on 20th March 2008.

Cold War St. Mihiel will be a recreation of the conflict of September 12th-16th of 1918. This re-enactment will take place in 4 scenarios of 2 ? hrs. over 2 days.

Saturday September 13th, 2008
The First Scenario Morning of September 12th, 1918
The Second Scenario Night of September 13th, 1918

Sunday, September 14th, 2008
Third Scenario "Big Day" Mid Day September 14th, 1918
Fourth Scenario Late Afternoon September 15th, 1918

"We have taken the Red Baron 3 D game and have made many updates to it in order to create a historically correct scenario. Including updating the battle map to be near exact representation of the battlefield at the beginning of the battle and near the last day of the battle."

"The plane list has also been modified to include actual plane models that flew in that battle bearing the markings of their actual respective squadron ?"

"You will see everything from flyable Salmson 2a 2, Hannover CL.I, and DH 9s to German fighter such as the Siemens Schuckert D.III and the Pfalz D.IIIa and Allied fighters such as the venerable SPAD XIII late and the FE2d Night Fighter ..."

KoAv. Deutschmark has announced that another event is planned for 2009:

Cold War #5 Tournament for 2009 will start in the second weekend of January 2009 and run until the third weekend of April 2009.

Signups start on September 1, 2008 and close on December 18, 2008. More details to come as time gets closer!.

Also you can look at the new RB game improvements being made for CW #5 tournament for 2009 at this forum thread.

You will find more information on Cold War on the official website and the official forum.

There is a new effort for a W.W.I flight simulation called Blue Max. KoA v. Deutschmark is heavily involved in designing new planes for it. Below you see some screenshots of work in progress as is 3D modeling, fire and smoke effects, water reflections and a first version of a Fokker Dr.I.

Blue Max will be geared towards the multi player genre. There will be no single player campaign part. The game will use a real world physics engine that allows to show damage on the planes and ground objects in real time withpout using the classic damage model approach.
