These custom sounds can be downloaded and used in Dawn of
Aces. If you are unfamiliar with changing the games sounds
please download the file "Installing Sounds".
Each aircraft has a full page devoted to it. The individual
aircraft pages contain a brief history of the aircraft in
W.W.I, specifications, and tables of the performance figures.
It also contains a brief write-up on how the aircraft
handles in the DoA arenas.

These maps are designed for printing out through a black and
white printer. They use the Adobe Acrobat PDF format,
readable by both PC and Macintosh and require the use of the
free Acrobat Reader that can be downloaded from many
shareware sites as well as the official Adobe Acrobat
Reader site.
Here you'll find some sounds to replace the Dawn of Aces
original gun sounds, including Vickers, Maxim (Spandau) and
M1916A for Lewis. You will also find some 20mm cannon sounds.
Colorized versions of the great MaxØverlays Maps. I kept the
original size of the black'n white maps, so every overlay
calculator provided by MaxØverlays should still work properly.

Case's Ladder was created in February 1996. Our mission is

The Mitchell is named in honor of one of the foremost
influences in military aviation, Brigadier General William
"Billy" Mitchell (1879-1936), and it is General Mitchell's
likeness that graces the Pilot's Choice Award.
The WFWP DOA TOD Ratings are a comprehensive statistical
analysis of pilot (and soon squadron) performance during the
course of a Dawn of Aces Tour of Duty. The Ratings are
updated each Monday morning and following the completion of
a TOD, the overall highest rated pilot is awarded the
'Toady' as Top DOA Rated Pilot of the tour.
